The Cafeteria

The Cafeteria is a high-end Greek restaurant that focuses on providing a community style dining experience with the nostalgia of a school lunch. When it comes to the logo, I incorporated the element of the olive branches since they are a popular ingredient in Greek food. The rounded form is to represent the community tables. The typeface choice was to allow customers to easily identify the restaurant's cuisine. For this brand, I wanted to establish an experience that can occur within the restaurant or as a takeaway experience with the addition of picnic style merchandise products. The lunchbox’s structure is to give that feeling of a picnic basket as well as an old school tin lunch box. As this product can be used to carry the restaurant's food, customers could also purchase wine and utensils for a gathering or as gifts. The branded food containers provided after each meal have the option for an upgrade to a branded reusable food container. Throughout the years, pick-up and delivery options have been popular making The Cafeteria’s mobile app an important aspect. I included images of the restaurant’s food and merchandise including descriptions of the meals to be accessible and pleasing to all customers. Overall, The Cafeteria is meant to be a fun, memorable, inviting, and social experience within the restaurant and outside.
